A passenger who missed his flight at Melbourne Airport went on a destructive rampage, smashing computers and assaulting airport staff.

He subsequently launched into a tirade, throwing computer monitors and other equipment around the Qantas terminal. He also physically assaulted several staff members before being subdued by security and arrested by Australian Federal Police.
The incident caused significant disruption and delays for other passengers. Footage of the chaotic scene, captured by onlookers, quickly circulated on social media, showing the extent of the damage and the man's violent outburst.
The man was charged with multiple offences, including criminal damage, assault, and disorderly conduct. He is expected to appear in court at a later date.
