Ashley Furniture Opens Illinois Store, Refurbishes Teen Center
Ashley Opens Retail Store in Illinois, Makeover Teen Center in Community
Ashley recently celebrated the grand opening of its new retail store in Moline, Illinois. The new location at 4200 44th Ave. Drive marks the company's second store in the Quad Cities and its 18th in Illinois.
The new 45,000-square-foot showroom features Ashley's latest furniture styles and designs.
In conjunction with the grand opening celebration, Ashley partnered with the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Mississippi Valley to makeover the teen center at the Moline Club. The project aimed at creating a modern and functional teen center complete with comfortable seating, new desks and lighting.
"We are excited to expand our presence in the Quad Cities community," stated Chad Spencer, President and CEO of Ashley. "The opening of the new store gives us another opportunity to offer our customers a wide selection of high-quality furniture and home decor items."
The new store's opening created 25 new jobs in the local economy.
"The revitalized teen center will make a meaningful difference for local teens, providing them with a supportive and inspiring environment to learn and grow," Spencer added.
