Knoll Celebrates 100 Years with Perron-Roettinger Collaboration
Knoll is celebrating the 70th anniversary of the iconic Perron Lounge Chair, originally designed by French designer Charlotte Perriand in 1953.
To mark this milestone, Knoll has reintroduced the lounge chair in its original two sizes and a range of new textiles, along with a special edition version featuring a distinctive horsehair fabric.
The Perron Lounge Chair represents a synthesis of traditional craftsmanship and Perriand's distinctive approach to modernist design, blending comfort and elegance. It's known for its unique construction, which involves a complex weaving technique for the seat and backrest.
This reissue provides an opportunity to appreciate and own a piece of design history, offering a modern interpretation of a classic that remains remarkably relevant today.
