Cleaning Crayon Off Furniture

Crayon marks on furniture can be a common headache for parents, but thankfully, they're usually removable. Several household items can effectively tackle crayon stains. For hard surfaces, a damp cloth with a mild dish soap often does the trick. Baking soda can be used for more stubborn marks by creating a paste and gently rubbing it on the affected area. For upholstery and other fabric-covered furniture, WD-40 can be surprisingly effective; spray a small amount on the crayon mark, let it sit for a few minutes, and then blot it away with a clean cloth. Always test any cleaning method on an inconspicuous area first to ensure it doesn't damage the furniture's finish.
