Luxembourg's inflation rate falls to 2% in September.
Luxembourg's inflation rate fell to 2.4% in August, down from 2.7% in July and marking the lowest rate since February 2022. This decline was primarily driven by lower energy prices, although food prices continued to rise. Despite the positive trend, core inflation, which excludes energy and food prices, remained stable at 4%. Statec, Luxembourg's statistics agency, highlighted the impact of the end of free public transport and the rise in tobacco prices as contributing factors to inflation.
