Certain interior design trends, once considered tacky or outdated, are experiencing a resurgence in popularity. Among them are "grand millennial" style, characterized by chintz and fringe; "cluttercore," which embraces maximalism and curated collections; and "dark academia," drawing inspiration from classic literature and scholarly settings with rich, moody colors and antique or antique-inspired pieces. While these styles might not appeal to everyone, they offer a fresh perspective and demonstrate that personal expression is taking precedence over strict adherence to minimalist or modern aesthetics.
