Interior designer Jake Arnold has partnered with Crate & Barrel to revamp the iconic Rumford collection. This collaboration marks the collection's first redesign since its debut two decades ago.

Arnold, known for his warm minimalism and laid-back California aesthetic, sought to retain the Rumford's original spirit while adding his own signature touch. He focused on enhancing the craftsmanship and updating the proportions to create a more elevated and contemporary feel.

The redesigned Rumford collection includes seating, dining, and occasional pieces. Arnold incorporated luxurious fabrics and finishes, like bouclé and performance velvet upholstery, to create an inviting and sophisticated look.

Key changes include a more refined silhouette with slimmed-down arms and legs, as well as an updated cushion configuration for improved comfort and support. A standout piece is the Rumford three-piece sectional, perfect for lounging and entertaining.
